What is Talknbot VE?
Talknbot VE is a microcomputer with a GSM/LTE transmitter that places outbound calls with built-in voice AI. It works without VoIP and without the client's IT infrastructure - a SIM card is enough. A proprietary edge device combining ElevenLabs AI with GSM/LTE.
How does Talknbot VE use the network - what runs locally and what in the cloud?
Talknbot VE does not require the client's internet or VoIP infrastructure - connectivity is provided by its own SIM card. The phone call itself runs over the GSM network (voice layer), while the AI layer (speech recognition, the language model and ElevenLabs voice synthesis) is processed in the cloud via LTE data on the same SIM card. Call control, SIM handling and campaign orchestration run locally on the device. Transcripts and call summaries are stored in the CRM (cloud, GDPR-compliant). During a temporary loss of data coverage, calls are queued and retried.
How is Talknbot VE deployed?
Deployment is plug & play: insert a SIM card, connect the device and configure the campaign. Swapping the SIM card enables roaming and international operations with no extra infrastructure.
